Sartaj Singh to make debut with Soch Lo

Sartaj Singh Pannu will be seen making his debut in SOCH LO as scriptwriter, director and actor. The film is scheduled for theatrical release on August 27. After receiving wide critical acclaim, the film will soon have its second screening in Los Angles, United States.

Sartaj Singh Pannu says, "SOCH LO will be screened in LA on August 10 for the international press. Most Hollywood films are screened there. Nichola Ellis, the publicist who has handled films like GANDHI and NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN is handling the film."

Talking about the journey of the film, Pannu said, "When we started the project, we neither had money nor patronage. We did not even have an office. We just had enough money to start a current account. It was a case of sheer passion driving the film."

He further added, "We also used cutting edge technology to give the film one of the best production values at comparatively lower costs. The result is rich, sharp, visual tones."

Shot extensively in Rajasthan, SOCH LO is the story of a wounded man left to die in a desert. He survives the ordeal but loses his Identity. He then resorts to robbing solitary car drivers traversing on this highway.

"SOCH LO does not belong to off-beat category. It is an entertainer and a fairly simple plot. But the medium and cinematic language used to tell the story is certainly new. I am sure that the multiplex audience will love it," concludes the director who also plays the main lead in the film.
