"I had my best time with Salman in DABANGG because he is a family friend", says Sonakshi when questioned if she was intimidated by the superstar's presence, "I have known him ever since I was a kid due to which there was no nervousness whatsoever. So many people ask me this question if it was difficult standing up to him but somehow that was never the case with me. With him, it was more of a pally atmosphere for me.
Still, in Bollywood where seniority and experience definitely counts, she must have experienced these factors as well, isn't it?
"There is no denying that fact. But then since I have shared such a comfort level with him for so many years, there was no apprehension whatsoever on my part", she continues in the same mood, "Yes, it was a great experience for sure because Salman has been around for 20 years and knows everything about the process of film making, shooting, dialogue delivery, the works. I too was going through the learning process. At the end of the day it is a job that you are doing and I did what I was told."
Well, if promos are any indications, she indeed seems to have done her job right. Come 10th September and we would know if the good work in promo shots extends to the entire film as well.
