Akshay's Thank You will also be a multi starrer comedy

Anees Bazmee and Akshay Kumar have wrapped up another major schedule of THANK YOU in Canada. The director who is also simultaneously making READY with Salman Khan is juggling between the two films as Khan is busy with his promotional events for DABANGG. Meanwhile, Bazmee is happy that he is in charge of two of the biggest productions in the current times and is buoyed by the fact that his star-actors trust him to deliver goods in each of his outings.

"Actors who work with me know that I don't believe in any favouritism", says Bazmee who has worked with top star-actors like Akshay Kumar in three back to back films (WELCOME, SINGH IS KINNG and now THANK YOU), Ajay Devgn in PYAAR TO HONA HI THA, DEEWANGEE, HULCHUL (along with an unreleased BENAAM) and Salman Khan in NO ENTRY and now READY, "They understand that once I rope in an actor, I love them all. For me, a character comes first and then the star."

In fact if one goes back in past, NO ENTRY - despite the presence of superstar Salman Khan - had Anil Kapoor as well as Fardeen Khan enjoying a good screen time for themselves right through the film's duration. Now THANK YOU not just stars Akshay Kumar in the lead but also features Bobby Deol, Suniel Shetty and Irrfan Khan as the other three male attractions along with Sonam Kapoor, Celina Jaitly and Rimi Sen.

"That's right", Bazmee nods in agreement here, "See, these are the virtues that distinguish the real men from those who are the insecure lot. Akshay is someone who is basically a very nice and down to earth person. Today, even if he features in a multi starrer with me, he knows that there is something very good in store for him. He likes me a lot and I too respect him a lot as a star and an actor."
