Anjaana Anjaani will break all road movies record

It will come as a surprise to many that most films with stories based on the road have not generally done well in India, although it is an entirely different scenario in Hollywood where road movies have been a very successful genre in film making. Almost all films with stories centered around road like Ramgopal Varma's DAUD and, Yash Raj's TASHAN, Abhay Deol's critically acclaimed ROAD, MOVIE and the latest KITES (partly based on road) all failed to excite the audience.

However Sajid Nadiadwala's ANJAANA ANJAANI looks all set to break the road movie jinx. The film starring the newest super star in Bollywood Ranbir Kapoor and the hot Priyanka Chopra is certainly making all the right noises and moves. Right from its stylish rich look to its zingy music, the film appears to be an outright winner with trade predicting a bumper opening for this Siddharth Anand directed road movie.

The much awaited ANJAANA ANJAANI is all set to release globally on 24th September.
