"Oh yes, definitely. The film deals with a dramatic subject of racism but then it isn't like as if we are exploring any depths of racism out there. If we would have followed that route, it would have become extremely serious and preachy. We never wanted to do that", confirms Emraan.
Sounding pretty excited about the film that pairs him up with Bhatts and Mohit Suri (ZEHER, KALYUG, AWARAPAN, RAAZ - THE MYSTERY CONTINUES), Emraan continues, "CROOK actually has quite a lot of vibrancy, energy and colours. The entertainment quotient hasn't been compromised with by any means. I am sure if the film was only about racism, I wouldn't have done it. After all people are anyways been exposed to this issue on TV."
Talking of entertainment, it is clear that Emraan has turned out to be one lucky young man. After all in CROOK, he romances not just with a 'desi' [Neha Sharma] but also a 'videsi' babe.
Laughs Emraan, "Oh yes, I am involved with two girls in the film. There is Neha who is playing the role of a NRI while there is this Australian girl who is a stripper. How do I turn lucky? Well, as my character steps into Australia, he has to find ways of permanent residency. One way to do that is to work for a year or two and then gain the benefits. Another is to get married and so he now wants to pataofy a chick, get married to her and then settle down. Since he is not used to working hard, he obviously opts for the second solution. This is how the two girls enter his life."
