Actor Mithun Chakraborty was appointed brand ambassador of the West Bengal arm of credit loan company Manappuram General Finance and Leasing Ltd here on Wednesday night.
Speaking on the occasion, actor Mithun said: "I feel honoured that they have chosen me to represent Bengal. Gold is a very valuable thing and it often goes to the grey market. They have 42 branches in the city and nearly 100 all through West Bengal; which means, communicating with them will be easier."
