With CROOK all set to release, newbie Neha Sharma is mighty excited about what Bollywood has to offer to her. While she plays a NRI in Australia in this Mohit Suri directed film, she is sure about one thing and it is that she won't be taking an experimental route in cinema.
"This is one clear decision in my mind," declares Neha, "I want to play roles that are closer to my real life personality. I don't want to go experimental just for the sake of it. In CROOK, I play a college going girl and I was happy playing it since it suited my age and personality. As long as I can play such characters with conviction, I am fine with that. There is a lot of time that I would have later for experiments; they can wait."
While experimentation could pretty much be taking place later in the day, her today seems to be quite beautiful, with the song 'Kya' from CROOK turning out to be a chartbuster. Though she doesn't get to lip synch on the song, she features prominently in this fun song which has turned out to be yet another hit for Emraan Hashmi, composer Pritam, director Mohit Suri and the makers Bhatts.
Neha lights up here, "You know, when you work with Emraan, you can be rest assured that there would be at least one number which would be memorable and played over and over again. I really turned lucky here because there is not one but four chartbuster tracks in CROOK. You have to hear it to believe it because each of them is brilliant and comes with its own individualistic appeal."
Well, we would certainly have a dekko at them once the film arrives in theaters on 8th October.
