Bollywood's leading production house Yash Raj Films (YRF), who loves mixing & matching jodis like Shahid-Anushka in BADMAASH COMPANY, Neil-Deepika in LAFANGEY PARINDEY, Katrina-John in NEW YORK, etc has paired up Imran Khan & Katrina Kaif for their forthcoming film.
This will be Imran's first film with YRF, as also his first screen pairing with Katrina.
Katrina earlier worked with YRF's NEW YORK (2009).
Apparently, Imran & Katrina were to come together for Sanjay Gadhavi's 7 DAYS IN PARIS in 2009. However, for some reasons the project couldn't take off.
The untitled film will be produced by Aditya Chopra and written and directed by debutant Ali Abbas Zafar. Ali has been with the YRF Banner for many years and has assisted on films such as BADMAASH COMPANY, NEW YORK, TASHAN and JHOOM BARABAR JHOOM.
This romantic comedy goes on floor mid-September and is scheduled for release in 2011.
