Aakrosh is full of masala says Akshaye

Not many will realize that AAKROSH is Akshaye Khanna's fifth film with director Priyadarshan and the duo, just like the Akki-Priyan combo, share a very special rapport and a good track record of successful films in the past. Naturally Akshaye Khanna is very excited to be back with Priyadarshan and is gung ho about his role, that of a CBI officer in Priyan's upcoming AAKROSH.

In an exclusive interview Akshaye Khanna spoke about AAKROSH and gave some surprising disclosures about the film. He revealed that although the film deals with a serious issue like honour killing and caste politics, AAKROSH is not a very serious film but a commercial one; a full on 'masala' entertainment package! He also added that 'masala' action movies are back with a bang and the success of RAAJNEETI, ONCE UPON A TIME IN MUMBAAI and DABANGG proves that beyond doubt. Khanna Jr. is confidant that the audience will love AAKROSH, which is a realistic action drama.
